Our Story
How It All Began
Ronnie's Candles LLC was born out of curiosity and creativity during the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic. After completing just one puzzle, my husband Gary and I decided to channel our energy into something more meaningful — and ordered our first candle-making supplies.
From Curiosity to Craft
Those initial candles left much to be desired, but the process was fascinating. That spark of curiosity led us down a path of deep research into the centuries-old craft of candle making — exploring wax types, wick sizes, fragrance oils, vessels, and the many variables that contribute to a safe, clean, and beautifully burning candle.
Our Handcrafted Soy Candles
After extensive testing and refinement, our proprietary formulas took shape. Today, those same formulas guide the production of our 100% handcrafted soy candles and melts. As of 2026, we hand-pour over one ton of soy wax each year from a small town in Connecticut — a remarkable milestone for a fully handmade operation.

Our candles are made with care, using only non-toxic, clean-burning soy wax. Every product is a reflection of our commitment to quality and our passion for the craft.
Named with Love
Ronnie's Candles is named in honor of my beloved late father, Ronnie — a tribute that reminds us every day of the love and legacy behind what we create. Our candles can be found on our website, in select Connecticut shops and boutiques, and at farmers markets and events throughout the state.
